By accessing or using Travel Story Maker (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
Travel Story Maker lets you create animated travel route videos from interactive maps and export them for personal or professional use. The Service is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, and may evolve over time.
3. User accounts
Some features require an account. You are responsible for:
- providing accurate information when registering;
- maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials;
- all activity that occurs under your account.
We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
- attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service;
- upload content that infringes third-party rights;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the routes, photos and videos you create. By using the Service, you grant Travel Story Maker a limited license to host, render and deliver your content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.
Exported videos are yours to use under the rights of the underlying map providers (see attribution requirements of MapTiler / OpenStreetMap when applicable).
6. Intellectual property
The Travel Story Maker brand, interface, source code and templates are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, redistribute or create derivative works without prior written consent.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Travel Story Maker and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data or business interruption.
8. Changes to the Service or the Terms
We may update the Service and these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by applicable French law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent courts, unless mandatory consumer-protection rules apply.
